Bright outburst of new CV in Peg
ペガスス座の新激変星が明るいアウトバースト

　IAUC No. 6772によれば、先にIAUC No. 6746で発見が報告されていたペガスス座
　の新激変星が明るいアウトバーストを起こしているようです。前回のアウトバー
　ストの減光の特徴や、爆発振幅（５等以上）から、この天体は矮新星のなかでも
　SU UMa型矮新星と呼ばれる一群の天体に属する可能性が高く、もしこれが本当で
　あれば、今回のような明るいアウトバースト（スーパーアウトバースト）に際し
　て、周期1.2-2時間程度、振幅0.1-0.3等程度のスーパーハンプと呼ばれる現象が
　観測できる可能性が濃厚です。もしこの現象が確認できれば、この天体がSU UMa
　型矮新星であることの証明になります。

　１５等と少し暗い天体ですが、２０ｃｍ以上の望遠鏡とＣＣＤで連続測光するこ
　とで、スーパーハンプの検出は可能と思われます。もし観測される場合は積分時
　間は６０秒程度が適当と思います。

   According to IAUC No. 6772, the new cataclysmic variable in Peg (reported
in IAUC 6746) is again reported to be in outburst.  The Beijing Astronomical
Observatory supernova survey team reports the object at R=15.0 on Nov. 14.44.

   A search for superhumps during the current bright outburst is highly
encouraged (cf. the following vsnet-alert posting)
