There is a UCAC object at 18h 15m 27.05s , -18d 57' 22.3" (2000) of "ucac
ccd red" mag 12.1 , with the mean epoch of observation given as 1999.607
This is also quite close to Brian's MSX object position in
http://vsnet.kusastro.kyoto-u.ac.jp/vsnet/Mail/alert5000/msg00947.html (end
figures 27.2s & 22" in that instance).
UCAC1 comes in pretty useful for southern stuff...
