Status: R
Following information suggests that 93J could be type II-L (Linear
decline), though being dimmer than 79C. If II-L, the presence of
dense circumstellar materials is plausible and thus intense X-ray
emissions (like 80K) can be expected.

Friedel Thielemann (CfA):
the latest I heard is that the supernova dimmed by 0.3mag from the day
before yesterday to yesterday and by more than 1 mag, during the next
24 hours, i.e. it is a fast declining lightcurve.
David Jeffery showed me IUE spectra of 93J and 79C which look similar.
Very close to black body (also at small wavelengths - opposite to 87A)
and some narrow P-Cygni lines.
