Orthography of V-numbered variable stars?

Dear Colleagues,

    We can see in different places different notations of V-numbered
variables stars, such as V 1436 Aql and V1436 Aql.  I have thought that
the latter is the historically correct notation, but recently see
increased incidences of the former.  Which is the received orthography
for these variables.

PS. What about other objects, like TmzV85.  TmzV 85 or Tmz V85 or TmzV85?
