Dear Taichi,

Could you issue the following a a vsnet-chat please.

Revised comparison sequence for Nova Ophiuchi 1998

Arne Henden has been able to obtain accurately calibrated magnitudes
for this field. This has allowed the previous sequence (vsnet-chat
990) to be revised. Columns 2 and 3 are the RA and Dec offsets from
the nova in seconds of arc, with north and east being positive.
Magnitude errors are less than +/- 0.02.

No. RA(") Dec(") V B-V V-R R-I

1 345 217	10.921 1.820 1.069 1.055
2 -77 -17	11.745 1.531 0.910 0.832
3 -54 -72	12.577 0.885 0.567 0.590
4 352 145	12.699 0.698 0.454 0.463
5 15 -299	13.074 0.888 0.538 0.538
6 -1 -71	13.243 0.720 0.484 0.488
7 184 167	13.945 1.738 0.988 0.886
8 0 -36	14.095 0.956 0.603 0.589
9 140 40	14.426 0.940 0.641 0.575
10 41 -111	14.694 1.776 1.015 0.908
11 9 49	14.893 1.910 1.215 1.243
12 -10 38	14.922 1.462 0.856 0.768
13 61 -9	15.020 1.730 1.039 0.951
14 -104 -54	15.304 1.744 1.064 0.953
16 2 -16	15.641 0.929 0.609 0.626
17 -26 33	16.293 1.520 0.883 0.882

It is suggested that this sequence be referred to as 'Henden prelim'
when reporting observations so as to identify the sequence used.
Arne is still working on this field and the final magnitudes may
vary slightly from those given here. However for visual purposes
the changes will be insignificant.
