RXJ0640-24 outburst The potential SU UMa-type dwarf nova RX J0640-24 is in outburst. The present brightness is comparable to those of short outbursts observed in the past. However, more than 250 d has past since the last long outburst (2000 May), a search for signatures of a superoutburst may be meaningful. Please keep a close watch on this, and forthcoming outbursts.
