SX LMi bright outburst The SU UMa-type dwarf nova SX LMi is reported to be in outburst. The present outburst is a relatively bright one, suggesting a superoutburst. The last superoutburst was observed in 2000 March - April (cf. vsnet-alert 4492, 4496, 4499). YYYYMMDD(UT) mag observer 20001219.160 <150 (T. Kinnunen) 20001222.387 <142 (M. The superoutburst of SX LMi was best observed on its 1994 occasion (Nogami et al., PASP 109, 1114). The detailed superhump period and period changes still await further observations.
