QW Ser congratulations! Congratulations to Rudolf and Dr. Pavlenko for their successful superhump observations of QW Ser = TmzV46. Knowing the object as a genuine SU UMa-type object, the outburst in 1999 October is also identified as a superoutburst. These results lead to a supercycle of 277 d, which is typical for an SU UMa star of this superhump period. This is a great succes of the network of all who have contributed to observations of this star: the discoverer Takamizawa and his quick notification via VSNET, the outburst detections by Schmeer, the 1999 observations by the Kyoto team, and the present intensive time-resolved photometry! I hope Rudolf could write a comprehensive paper to record the present glorious collaboration, and hope everyone who can observe could contribute to complete his work! Regards, Taichi Kato VSNET Collaboration team
