[vsnet-alert 265] Nov. 2 ALEXIS transient: CCD images by Iida

Dear Colleagues,

     Makoto Iida (VSOLJ) has kindly provided GIF-formatted his CCD images
of the field of Nov. 2 ALEXIS transient.  We have made them available via
anonymous ftp (ftp.kusastro.kyoto-u.ac.jp, directory /pub/vsnet/others/ALEXIS).

   All images were taken with an unfiltered ST-6 CCD attached to a 20-cm
reflector (fl=800mm).  Exposure time was 60 s, field of view ~1.0 deg.

     We would be grateful if these images would help optically identifying
the transient.  Please let him (and us, if possible) know if any useful
