V4743 Sgr oscillation phase or not? There seems to be a 30-d periodicity from the data listed below. The nova may be experiencing some sort of "transition phase" activity. If it is the case, the analogy with V1494 Aql may be more strengthened. However, the ASAS-3 data show a smoother decline with little fluctuation. Could the difference have resulted from different systems or reduction methods? If this seeming variation turns out to be spurious, we should be more careful about the quality of multi-observer analysis of nova light curves.
