Dear colleagues,

Diffraction Ltd (aka Cyanogen - the makers of MaxIm DL/CCD) just announced
the release of MaxPoint 1.0. The product has been designed to improve the
pointing and tracking accuracy of telescope mounts by compensating for
various mechanical errors. More information and a time-limited version of
MaxPoint are available on : www.cyanogen.com

MaxPoint directly competes with Software Bisque's TPoint, another great
product that addresses the same problem. See www.bisque.com for more
information on TPoint.

I have not been able yet to compare both products in "real life", but I'd be
interested to hear about practical experiences.
