DV Pup is less than 1/2 degree south of V445 Pup. This field has been measured down to 20th magnitude by Arne Henden, so plenty of suitable comp. stars, I would guess. I know, the situation is not ideal, but should not pose too much of a problem for a visual observer. The RASNZ has a chart of this variable, and I think Mike Simonson also has one available on his homepage, based on the Henden sequence. best regards. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Reinder J.
