Note that IAUC 7277 finally mentions that
GM Sgr is not the same as the cataclysmic
variable, and that Samus' group has decided
that Luyten's star (the SR) remains as GM Sgr and
Goranskij's star (the cataclysmic)
is now V4641 Sgr, a new designation. This
should finally resolve the issue that has
been discussed on the maillists for the past
six months (but without a single mention of
any of these postings).
