We weren't observing with LONEOS, and wouldn't have observed in the galactic plane in any case (even in the dark rift where the nova is), but LINEAR did get frames across the nova on the dates in question. You can view the sky coverage by various asteroid surveys starting at: http://asteroid.lowell.edu/cgi-bin/koehn/coverage ...or at a similar one kept by Graff Williams at the Minor Planet Center Web site: http://cfa-www.harvard.edu/skycovcgi/skycov.pl ...whose maps are not as detailed. Getting the LINEAR data (or having them look at their data) is another deal altogether. The best bet is probably to write to Frank Shelly (shelly@ll.mit.edu) and ask what the possibilities are. The use 5" pixels, so despite having 2m focal length, the images are pretty blocky. \Brian
