V vs. CCD-minus IR
While processing Nova Sco 1998 data, I wonder whether "CCD + minus-
infrared filter" represents "a broadband-V system" (cf. IAUC 7041).
Liller's these measurements still look too bright compared to Kiyota's
V measures and other visual observers. It doesn't seem to me the CCD +
minus-infrared filter system is a good approximation of the V system,
and assigning the "V" name, even with a modifier, looks confusing.
