The final aim of variable stars observing is not
the presentation of a light curve, but you can detect
many informations by using your own observing sequence,
your own telescope. The Argelander method of comparison
is particularly suited for that kind of work. That is why
we used it for observing suspected stars or eclipsing
and pulsating stars.
