NSV 10934: new data and superhumps update Dear Colleagues, We have received a huge amount of data from Chris Stockdale (3 nights), Peter Nelson (1 night). We have also received a note from Tom Richards about successful observations (3 nights). Thanks to all observers, the data are now completely covering the entire evolution of the superoutburst! Although there is some indication of a slight acceleration of the fading trend, the superhumps are still clearly recorded with sufficient details. There is some evidence of emerging secondary superhumps and occasional dip-like fadings. The mean superhump period between Jan. 4 and 12 is 0.07485 d. There is an undisputed presence of period shortening (about -1.5*10^-5), although not as striking as in UV Gem. Since 10 d has passed since the start of the outburst, the object is expected to start a rapid fading within a few days. During such a terminal stage, the superhumps may undergo a rapid evolution in amplitude, profile and phasing. Please continue observing as long as possible, and follow the object for several days for observing late superhumps after the expected rapid decline. Regards, Taichi Kato VSNET Collaboration team
