Dear colleagues,
I just finished analysing the UV Gem data, obtained last night (2003, Jan
11/12) at CBA Belgium Observatory (using 0.35-m f/6.3 telescope and ST-7
CCD). Sky conditions were relatively good, and the session lasted for 4.6
hours. Using the PDM technique, I found a superhump period value of 0.0925
+/- 0.0009 d. This confirms the period change (dramatic shortening) reported
in vsnet-campaign-dn 3302, by Taichi Kato.
I have added the light curve to my web site at www.cbabelgium.com
What an interesting cataclysmic variable !
Kind regards,
Tonny Vanmunster
