DO Dra [UG, 10.0B - 15.1B]
=======================

Tonny Vanmunster, Landen, Belgium has detected an outburst
of this interesting dwarf nova.
Confirmation has come from Paul Van Cauteren, Aartselaar, Belgium.

1994 May 08.797 UT, <14.2 (G. Poyner, Birmingham, UK, 0.40-m refl);
May 10.878 UT, <14.2 (T. Vanmunster, 0.35-m refl);
May 11.888 UT, <14.2 (T. Vanmunster, 0.35-m refl);
May 13.932 UT, 14.1 (T. Vanmunster, Seq: TA-comp star 14.2);
May 13.990 UT, 14.2 (T. Vanmunster, Seq: TA-comp star 14.2);
May 13.993 UT, 14.2 (P. Van Cauteren, 0.40-m refl, Seq: TA comp star 14.2)

Important: all estimates are based on the comparison star of mag 14.2
on the TA (The Astronomer) Sequence. We have the ompression that
this star in reality is fainter (around mag 14.8)
Please always mention sequence and comparison stars used, when
reporting your observations of DO Dra

Previous outbursts of DO Dra, based on our records:
1993 Jun 07, 15.2 (D. York, USA)
1993 Apr 18, 14.6 (Grise, USA)
1992 Sep 25, 13.5 (Dyck, USA)
One some occasions the star can become as bright as mag 10. Such an
outburst was observed on 1988, Mar 31 (mag 10.1)

DI UMa [UG, 15p - 17.7p]
========================

Tonny Vanmunster, Landen, Belgium reports an outburst of
this dwarf nova type cataclysmic variable, which is on the
Recurrent Objects Programme of The Astronomer Group.
We are still looking for confirmation from other observers

1994 May 08.986 UT, <14.7 (G. Poyner, Birmingham, UK, 0.40-m refl);
May 10.896 UT, 14.8 (T. Vanmunster, 0.35-m refl, seq AAVSO);
May 11.889 UT, 14.6 (T. Vanmunster);
May 13.901 UT, 15.2 (T. Vanmunster);

The object was last seen in outburst on 1994, April 8, at
magnitude 15.3 (Poyner and Worraker, UK)

V344 Lyr [UG, 14.5p - <20p]
=======================

Tonny Vanmunster, Landen, Belgium, reports another outburst of
this star. It is on the Recurrent Objects Programme of The Astronomer
Group. Confirmation from other observers is still required

1994 May 11.910 UT, <14.8 (T. Vanmunster, 0.35-m refl);
May 13.899 UT, 14.9 (T. Vanmunster, Seq TA);

The object was last seen in outburst on 1994, april 7 when it
reached mag 14.7 (Vanmunster)

AR UMa [CV:]
============

We have decided to add this interesting star to our Cataclysmic
Variables Alert Programme (see CVC No. 2) -Group 1-. Although
the object initially was classified as semi-regular (GCVS),
it recently has been proposed as a cataclysmic variable,
of unknown subclass (IBVS 3890). A number of outbursts have
been detected photographically (max. mag. 12.8pg).
Finder charts are under preparation and will be available
shortly from the editors.
