DO Dra
DO Dra is located at 11h 40m 48.88s +71deg 57' 58.5" (1950.0)
For a referece to historical outbrusts, see IBVS 2880 (Hazen).
There is a good summary of short-period oscillation of this cataclysmic
variable entitled "Rapid Oscillations in Cataclysmic Variables VIII
YY Draconis (=3A1148+719)" Ap. J. 392, 233 (1992), J. Patterson et al.
Neither photometry nor spectroscopy has been reported during outbursts.
If the present suspected brightening really leads to a major outburst,
time-resolved CCD photometry (and if possible, spectroscopy and X-ray
observations) would be crucial in discriminating the undelying mechanisms.
Observations are encourgaed again.
