Subject: SN1994I obserevational result

Hello Kato-sama,

Because Dr. Hitoshi Yamaoka told me that the SN brightness should be
reported to you, I am sending here a short report of preliminary
result of 1994I brightness measured at the Okayama Astrophysical
Observatory with RCA CCD during our observing run.

We used star 135(D) near the nucleus of M51, R-magnitude is
13.12. The thin cloud was there during our imaging, the
R-magnitude we obtained should have large uncertainty as noted.

1994 April 17.48 UT 13.24 +- 0.2
1994 April 19.59 UT 13.28 +- 0.1

These value were measured from CCD images taken by 188cm telescope
   at the Okayama Astrophysical Observatory.
The observers are J. Watanabe, National Astronomical Observatory
of Japan, A. Nakamura, H. Araki, Institute of Space and
Astronautical Science, H. Hasegawa, Astec Inc., and Y. Hirota,
Tokyo Gakugei University.

  Best regards,

-Junichi Watanabe
National Astronomical Observatory of Japan.
