SN 2002bi
SN 2002bi was discovered by the LOTOSS team on images taken on February
25 (17.1mag). The host of SN 2002bi is a spiral or irregular galaxy UGC
8527. The expected maximum for typical SN Ia is mag about 16.6. SN locates
quite near to the nucleus (vsnet-campaign-sn
358). It turned out to have been of type Ia, roughly 1 month past
maximum on Mar. 7, as revealed by UCB - Keck team (vsnet-campaign-sn
370).
