CI Aql fading
CCD observations by the VSNET collaboration team (cf. vsnet-campaign)
indicate that the recurrent nova CI Aql is again fading.
Selected nightly avaraged data from Kyoto observations:
YYYYMMDD(UT) V-C err N
----------------------------------
20000514.795 -0.549 0.033 47 C
20000515.769 -0.808 0.019 255 C
20000520.773 0.170 0.028 136 C
The object has faded by 1.0 mag in these five days. In addition to
the already suggested short-term modulations, there seem to be a longer
period oscillations (with a timescale of ~10 days), superimposed on
the nova fading. Further observations are strongly encouraged.
