XTE J1118+480 decline
Dear Colleagues,
We have further received two sets of time-series data from Lew Cook.
Together with new observations at Kyoto (as reported by Uemura-san),
we have obtained a mean rate of decline as 0.039 mag/d between May 18.5
and 20.8. This rate is remarkably larger than what have been observed
during the present outbursting state. We have also received high-speed,
high-precision CCD photometry data from Daisaku Nogami, observing at
Calar Alto, during the ASCA-VSNET campaign.
More detailed analysis of the time-series, including the superhump
and QPO analysis, will be presented later by Uemura-san.
Regards,
Taichi Kato
