XTE J1118+480 今朝、植村君が光学同定に成功しました。まず第1報です。 銀河面から非常に離れていて、またまた特異なX線新星かも知れません。追跡が 望まれます。 Date: Fri, 31 Mar 2000 03:59:51 +0900 From: Makoto Uemura <uemura@kusastro.kyoto-u.ac.jp> Subject: [vsnet-alert 4503] XTE J1118+480 optical counterpart? We started CCD observation on the field of XTE J1118+480 at Kyoto from 17:00 (UT). There is an object brighter than 15 mag located at 1' from RXTE detected position (R.A. = 11h 18m 17s, Decl. = +48o 03'.0). In the DSS images, there are only faint objects near the position of this possible optical counterpart of XTE J1118+480. The follow-up observations are strongly urged. Regards, Makoto Uemura and Taichi Kato さらに、Buczynskiが確認しました。12.9等と明るいです。 Date: Fri, 31 Mar 2000 07:08:48 +0900 From: Makoto Uemura <uemura@kusastro.kyoto-u.ac.jp> Buczynski さんがやってくれました。 12.91 等。 最初に同報で流した「約15等」は、うそでした。 比較星を見誤っていました。 だから、12.91等に急増光したわけではありません。 植村 ------- Forwarded Message Date: Thu, 30 Mar 2000 22:19:57 +0100 To: Makoto Uemura <uemura@kusastro.kyoto-u.ac.jp> Cc: vsnet-alert@kusastro.kyoto-u.ac.jp From: Denis Buczynski <denis@cb978iau.demon.co.uk> Subject: Re: [vsnet-alert 4503] XTE J1118+480 optical counterpart?
