Variable star near NGC 4013 = SN1989Z? 以下の情報が報告されています。これまでの眼視モニターの観測者からの報告と 合わせ、おそらく変光星ではないのではないか、とのことです。早期警戒?網は 解除してもよさそうですが、今後気をつけておいてよい天体かも知れません。 Date: Sun, 24 May 1998 15:01:14 -0700 From: bas@lowell.Lowell.Edu (Brian Skiff) To: dgreen@cfa.harvard.edu, isn_chat@mbox.queen.it Cc: vsnet-chat@kusastro.kyoto-u.ac.jp Subject: [vsnet-chat 964] Star superposed on NGC 4013 The galaxy photometry compilation of Longo & deVaucouleurs (Univ. of Texas monograph no.3, 1983) provides UBV photometry of this star: V = 12.65, B-V = 0.41, U-B = -0.01. The colors indicate an ordinary star near spectral type F2. Given the problems mention on the IAUC (log-scaled or stars-removed images of galaxies at the NED Web site), I think there is no longer any need to pay attention to this star, but greater need for attention to image sources and to the literature! \Brian Regards, Taichi Kato
