Discovery paper = Cragg, T, PASP 73, 453-454, (1961) fully available at
ADS

evidence not that good really...

Recent critique = Goswami, A, Rao, N K, Lambert D L, The Observatory
118, 213-218 (1998) fully available at the ADS [there is a more recent
critique by the same authors in 1999 in Bull. Astron. Soc. India 27,
129-132, but this is not available].

here these authors find no spectroscopic evidence for RCB nature...

...further they note in the introduction that no RCB fading event has
been seen since Cragg's reported discoveries, which were only two faint
points coincidentally noticed on plates being used to create TU And
sequence charts [see above ref for that].
