XZ Eri: new data from Greg Bolt, superhump period change Dear Colleagues, We have received new spectacular sets of XZ Eri data (4 nights) from Greg Bolt. The data indicate that the superoutburst has not yet entered the rapid decline stage at least as of Feb. 6 (and possibly Feb. 7). The object were strongly superhumping, with a noticeable beat phenomenon, and eclipses were clearly detected, with variable depths (likely related to the beat phase). The superhump period initially increased during the early half of the superoutburst, but the period turned to decrease since Feb. 3. Such behavior reminds us of the superhumps period changes in WZ Sge-type dwarf novae, such as AL Com and HV Vir. Regards, Taichi Kato VSNET Collaboration team
