Thank you for the information. Actually on the DSS images, star "A"
and southern double are not clearly resolved but shown as an elongated
object. Reinsch et al. (1994) correctly pointed out that the star "A"
is a variable, while the chart in Downes' online catalog has been
marked the triple as a CV. As B. Monard report in [vsnet-alert 7537],
it was confirmed that the violently oscillating object is actually UW
Pic, the northmost star of the triple = star "A". Downes' chart was
corrected soon after this indication.

If it has the transversal velocity of 100 km/s, the proper motion
would be about 0.07"/yr, which can be detected when compared with
~20 or more years old images.
