[vsnet-outburst 5812] Re: GX Cas - outburst, V1329 Cyg - brighter

Dear colleagues,

D. Motl has kindly observed V1329 Cyg tonight with 300/1200
telescope of Vyskov observatory. Assuming V=10.34 mag for
comparison star GSC 2695 0313, the observation is:

CYGV1329 20030828.808 12.79V (D. Motl)

in good agreement with DPV's observations. However, previous
observations from Brno observatory suggest a slow gradual rise
during at least two months. The latest two measurements:

CYGV1329 20030815.958 12.98V (O. Pejcha)
CYGV1329 20030806.933 13.17V (O. Pejcha)

R and I band photometry show even less pronounced rise. Sudden
brightening reported by DPV is most probably wrong comparison
stars stuff.

Best regards,

Ondrej Pejcha
