Dear Fraser,
> I presume that the maximum of this event has now passed?
This depends on the accuracy of the prediction, which was not mentioned
in IAUC. I presume the maximum date and amplification were determined
using a model fit to the observed points (on the rise) assuming a light
amplification by a single star. I don't know how much points were used,
but the star should still deserve a watch for some time. If the lensing
body is a binary (even planets orbiting a single star), the amplification
may become more complicated, with double or multiple peaks.
I have heard Ayani-san at Bisei Astronomical Observatory succeeded
in recording the brightening by ST-6, but he tells he could not determine
the magnitude yet. He has just reported in [vsnet-alert 1155]
