as seen from Pretoria in Nov 96, with the apogee 40x120

VW HYI 6.789 8.5
VW HYI 3.00 < 12.4 must have been shortly before the eruption
I failed to see WX HYI on several occasions during the last
nights. The limiting magnitude for the apogee (on the WX HYI
chart) was 12.4 and 12.5.
I will fill in the exact data tomorrow!
