The star IRAS14436-0703 is found to be a Mira star with a period of 297 days, by inspecting Stardial images (http://vsnet.astro.uiuc.edu/stardial/). The amplitude in unfiltered light is around 3 magnitudes or more, and the maximum and minimum seem to vary by about a magnitude. Epoch of maximum light JD 2452045, M-m = 0.4. From USNO B1.0, B-R is somewhat larger than 3.0.
