Stardial (http://vsnet.astro.uiuc.edu/stardial/) images between 1999 and 2002, show that GSC 05154-01249 is a Mira variable with a period of 290 days. Only data near maximum is recorded on the images. The NOFS plate archive was checked (http://vsnet.nofs.navy.mil/data/fchpix), showing a B-R value of about +3, and a difference of 2 magnitudes between the two red plates, confirming variability. There is a close companion about 5" West.
