NOFS survey archive date details

Red Plates : 1953.5264, 1954.4162, 1986.6543, 1993.4004, 1993.5318
Blue Plates : 1953.5264, 1954.4162, 1981.3320, 1988.5216, 1990.4162

Within a colour plate set marked variation of this object relative to
adjacent stars is readily evident, even in the case of comparing the two
'far red' IVN plates against themselves.

In the case of contemporaneous blue and red plates, the object is
distinctly brighter on the red plates. In the case of the
near-contemporaneous 1993 red and far red plates, the latter is the
brighter. Also an IRAS source.

Amplitude of variation, time distribution of variation (including
changes on same colour plates relatively close in time) and redness of
object point towards a Mira variable.
