Hi Doug,
Saw your note today. I've made the following
measures of this star:
2002
V V-Rc
Sep 23 11.735
2.084
Oct 10
11.384 2.044
Oct 14 11.377

11.328 2.041

11.349 2.053

Oct 25
11.406 2.084
Oct 29
11.499 ---
Nov 7
11.687 2.214 (Not ideal conditions)
I've determined preliminary values for the star
about 15" to the east - V = 10.728 V-R = 0.744. These values may be slightly in
error as I still haven't got a good V-R term. I'm using 0.075 but I suspect that
it's about 0.150. So the true colour and magnitude are probably redder and
fainter. But you might be able to match your measures a bit better with these
values available. I've also found values for:
GSC 6846 570
8.865 0.656
GSC 6846 529
9.052 0.237
GSC 6846 174 10.200
0.231
I think that Arne gets this last star somewhat
bluer (10.257 0.153) which confirms my suspicion that I have a problem
with the present V-R correction. One of these days the weather will improve and
I can sort this out.
Regards,
Stan
