Dear colleagues! I would like to send you observations of a new variable star (BeV46), which I have discovered in a systematic CCD-based search for new variables. In each observing run typically 400 images are taken of several survey fields. The frames are processed automatically. Instruments: CCD-camera:Starlight Xpress SX (unfiltered) Telescope: Celestron-8 (20 cm Schmidt-Cassegrain) New variable star: new BeV46 164503.7 +041021.4 (J2000) 12.2 12.9(CCD) SR comments: BeV46: GSC 392 2129 Comparison star was for all measurements GSC 392 2432 (12.6 mag), which was checked to be constant. The slowly change in brightness and the red colour (USNO A2.0 r:11.3 mag, b:14.0 mag) suggest a SR-variable. object YYMMDD(UT) mag (CCD) code BeV46 000702.8833 12.79 BRH.BAV BeV46 000706.8847 12.85 BRH.BAV BeV46 000717.8611 12.53 BRH.BAV BeV46 000720.8590 12.45 BRH.BAV BeV46 000722.8694 12.46 BRH.BAV BeV46 000731.8583 12.28 BRH.BAV BeV46 000801.8534 12.21 BRH.BAV Regards, Klaus Bernhard Klaus Bernhard Kafkaweg 5 A-4030 LINZ AUSTRIA e-mail: kl.bernhard@aon.at
