Dear colleagues! I would like to send you observations of a new variable star (BeV33), which I have discovered in a systematic CCD-based search for new variables. In each observing run typically 400 images are taken of several survey fields. The frames are processed automatically. Instruments: CCD-camera:Starlight Xpress SX (unfiltered) Telescope: Celestron-8 (20 cm Schmidt-Cassegrain) New variable star: new BeV33 051452.1 N101107 (2000) 11.7 12.1 (CCD) SR comments: BeV33: GSC 703 625 Comparison star was for all measurements GSC 703 947 (12.2 mag), which was checked to be constant. The change in brightness and the red colour (USNO A2.0: r:11.2 mag, b: 14.1 mag) suggest a SR-variable. object YYMMDD(UT) mag (ccd) code BeV33 000111.8951 12.14 BRH.BAV BeV33 000124.8722 11.99 BRH.BAV BeV33 000125.9021 11.87 BRH.BAV BeV33 000126.8993 11.94 BRH.BAV BeV33 000127.8708 11.97 BRH.BAV BeV33 000204.8396 11.79 BRH.BAV BeV33 000210.8771 11.74 BRH.BAV Regards, Klaus Bernhard Klaus Bernhard Kafkaweg 5 A-4030 LINZ AUSTRIA e-mail: klaus.bernhard@vpn.at
