Dear colleagues! I would like to send you observations of a new variable star (BeV32), which I have discovered in a systematic CCD-based search for new variables. In each observing run typically 400 images are taken of several survey fields. The frames are processed automatically. Instruments: CCD-camera:Starlight Xpress SX (unfiltered) Telescope: Celestron-8 (20 cm Schmidt-Cassegrain) New variable star: new BeV32 053449.6 N101611 (2000) 12.1 12.3 (CCD) SR comments: BeV32: GSC 705 921 Comparison star was for all measurements GSC 705 885 (11.6 mag), which was checked to be constant. The change in brightness and the red colour (USNO A2.0: r:12.3 mag, b: 15.1 mag) suggest a SR-variable. object YYMMDD(UT) mag (ccd) code BeV32 000124.8854 12.10 BRH.BAV BeV32 000125.9153 12.06 BRH.BAV BeV32 000126.9125 12.13 BRH.BAV BeV32 000127.8840 12.06 BRH.BAV BeV32 000201.8757 12.22 BRH.BAV BeV32 000204.8521 12.15 BRH.BAV BeV32 000207.8576 12.25 BRH.BAV BeV32 000210.8903 12.24 BRH.BAV Regards, Klaus Bernhard Klaus Bernhard Kafkaweg 5 A-4030 LINZ AUSTRIA e-mail: klaus.bernhard@vpn.at
