It was detected by the PIXY system as one of the candidates of new
variable stars from images taken by KenIchi Kadota, Ageo City,
Saitama, Japan, then confirmed by Seiichi Yoshida.

V1723 Sgr is 1.4 arcmin from MisV0794. V1723 Sgr was detected as a 17
mag star. Although the variability of V1723 Sgr was not confirmed,
MisV0794 is probably another new variable star.
