Dear colleagues, New variable star discovery by the MISAO Project (MisV0793). MisV0793 R.A. 17h58m56s.13 Decl. -30o09'30".8 (2000.0) Mag. 13.2C-14.1C Type ? http://vsnet.info.waseda.ac.jp/muraoka/members/seiichi/misao/data/MisV/MisV0793.gif MisV0793 19990430.73977 141C Mis MisV0793 19990520.68250 136C Mis MisV0793 19990923.43545 132C Mis It was detected by the PIXY system as one of the candidates of new variable stars from images taken by KenIchi Kadota, Ageo City, Saitama, Japan, then confirmed by Seiichi Yoshida. NSV 09920 is 0.8 arcmin from MisV0793. No star brighter than 14.3 mag was detected at the cataloged position of NSV 09920. But considering the brightness of NSV 09920 in the catalog, 9.36 mag, the following star, detected as 9.4 mag star, should be NSV 09920. Therefore, MisV0793 is probably another new variable star.
