It looks as though the new ASAS3 variable that Sebastian found is
outside the IR survey by McCuskey & Mehlhorn. The main blue-light survey
(where the fields are arranged orthogonally to RA/Dec...) covers a
larger area, but still might not include it (or go faint enough).
