Dear colleagues, in response to vsnet-id 745, John Greaves suggested me to look in Meinunger (1986, MVS 11, 1), where should be correct identification of VY Tri. Miloslav Zejda was so kind and brought me the paper. I compared the published finding chart with my images and USNO A2.0 plots and found that VY Tri = S 10915 is identical with USNO A2.0 star located at: 02 12 09.3 +33 55 53 (J2000), USNO A2.0 B-R = 2.0 mag The star looks slightly reddish on my images and there seems to be no change in brightness between my two epoch I band images.
