Following a suggestion from Vance Petriew, I compared the chart for
this suspeceted variable (IBVS 660) with various images and catalogues.
The intended star appears to be at: 18 16 18.28 -18 52 13.5 (J2000, UCAC1).
This is a relatively blue star. A nearby red star about 15" southwest
seems to be too faint in the blue (B ~17) to have been picked up by
Hoffleit. Comparison of Schmidt plate scans available from the USNO-FLagstaff
server suggest (from three red plates) that neither star is significantly
variable.
