Seems as though the USNO-A2.0 position is the best available, and only
a few arcsec from the NSV position. This paper, listed under the SIMBAD
entry for the star, could be relevant:
2000PASJ...52..275N: NAKASHIMA J.-I., JIANG B.W., DEGUCHI S., SADAKANE K.
and NAKADA Y. <Publ. Astron. Soc. Jap., 52, 275-294 (2000)>
Period measurement of AGB stars in the outer galactic disk.
Is a lightcurve already published in PASJ?!
I note also that a spectral type of M9 is published by Iyengar and MacConnell
(1998A&AS..133..201I).
