In the final version of 2MASS the designations could change slightly
when the astrometry is revised with the full data-set. Thus any names
cited currently should specify "2MASS second release". Also, note that
the external error of the 2MASS positions is 0".2 rms in the absence of
proper motion. Thus giving positions to more than 0".1 precision is
not terribly useful.
