Dear colleagues,
Here I report the revised astrometry and identifications of some
variable stars found in the course of the MISAO Project. We confirmed
the variability of all stars here on the unfiltered CCD images taken
by Nobuo Ohkura, Okayama, Japan, and KenIchi Kadota, Ageo City, Japan.
John Greaves and Brian Skiff researched that V2010 Cyg was reported
originally in IBVS 3855 as LD 162. On the original chart in that
paper, USNO-A2.0 1200.14588521, R.A. 20h09m44s.153,
Decl. +31o58'49".59 (2000.0), 14.5 mag(R), 19.1 mag(B), was marked as
the variable, that is about 20 arcsec south of the star we discovered
the variability. The position in IBVS 4450 is also that of the
southern star. However, no variability of the southern star was
detected on the MISAO images taken on 1999 Nov. 21 and 2000 July 9. No
variability of the southern star was found between the DSS2 R images
in 1991 and 1992, on the other hand the variability of the northern
star was evident. Therefore, we concluded that the mark in IBVS 3855
was mistake and the northern star is true V2010 Cyg.
Taichi Kato has identified BM Cyg with USNO-A1.0 1350.14621907,
R.A. 21h31m49s.205, Decl. +47o35'07".20 (2000.0), 12.3 mag(R), 16.0
mag(B), in 1998. However no variability of the star was detected on
the MISAO images taken on 1999 July 9 and 2000 Aug. 15. John Greaves
researched that BM Cyg was originally reported in IBVS 3800 at the
position R.A. 21h30m00s.7, Decl. +47o22'21" (B1950), which corresponds
to the star we discovered the variability. Therefore, we concluded
that the 2MASS star at R.A. 21h31m50s.536, Decl. +47o35'34".23
(2000.0) is true BM Cyg.
J211048+341955 is a variable star discovered by Mitsutaka Hiraga.
