Nova Cassiopeia Observation
---------------------------
My observation of Nova Cassiopeia;
December 17, 1993 2142 UT from Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada at latitude
N44 degrees and longitude W63 degrees. Observations made with 7x50 binoculars.
Cloud started to cover the area I was observing but I had a few minutes to
get an estimate.
Used Tau Cassiopeia ( 4.9 mag.) and a star I will call star2 between
Rho Cass. and the Nova the star2 is listed as 5.5 mag. Both stars mag-
nitudes I got from the AAVSO Variable Star Atlas.
The nova was the same brightness as star2 at 5.5 magnitude.
Clear skies
