Now that the snow has calmed down, I am starting UBV on Nova Cas. 5 sec Intg
gives good statistics: ~27000 in U, ~13500 in B and ~200000 in V.
At about 9:15PM this night local (Sunday) nova brightened to 219600 counts in
V. Did so within ~30 min.
The upper winds are terrible following the storm passage and the seeing is
lousy...the stars are juggling all over the place. Had to quite at 11PM this]
night.
I will continue coverage each night beginning at end of twilight.
