Sequence: TA, Hurst 1988 Oct 21 (= AAVSO Circular 177 + IBVS 2653).

On all occasions (also Aug 17.967 and Aug 18.913), star G
(V = 13.80) was seen. I beleive that star G is, in reality, brighter
than 13.8, since my limiting magnitude in that direction (over the
city lights) was hardly better than 13.2 on Aug 18. In any case,
IP Peg was fainter then G both on Aug 17.967 and Aug 18.913, according
to my results. - I could not see any eclipse effects on the night
Aug 21-22.
